Freedom Beverage has an extensive portfolio of wines from all over the world, which means we are constantly getting to try new and exciting things. And yet even with constant evolution, we all have our favorites.
In honor of February, a month that celebrates love, we’ve chosen just a few of our go-to selections to share with you.
Brilla Prosecco is my pick for February, when love is in the air.
Brilla
With amazingly decorative bottles, these Italian Proseccos not only deliver delicious bubbles, but they are art for the eyes.
Brilla Prosecco Doc
A classic Prosecco like this one with flavors of stone fruits and white flowers is romantic, fresh, and not too serious.
Brilla Prosecco Doc Rose
It’s fun, flirty, and pink and it’s the ultimate Valentine’s Day wine. You’ll get aromas of rose petals and strawberries to go right along with your roses and strawberries.
Domaine Lafage Cuvee Centenaire Blanc is an outstanding alternative to Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Domaine Lafage
Jean-Marc and Eliane Lafage come from a long line of winemakers in the family, and their wines show the quality and elegance that only experience and quality can bring.
Cote D’est Blanc
This bright white wine is full of fruit and minerals, with a dryness on the finish that matches an array of foods perfectly. Pair with seafood, light lemon pasta, or salty cheese.
Cuvee Centenaire Blanc
What’s not to love about an old vine, Mediterranean influenced white wine that’s a perfect combination of savory, fruity, and peppy?
Cotes De Roussillon Villages Lieu Dit La Narassa
Interestingly, the formula for this wine is based on a mistake, when one year the grapes were left on the vine a little too long and allowed to dehydrate slightly. The resulting ripasso method leads to a deep colored and complex red wine that coats the palate and is a stand in for hearty winter weather meat dishes.
Big, rich, velvety, and complex - this wine is perfect for cold weather.
Black Slate
Black Slate wines feature remarkable vineyards throughout the region, showcasing the land and its villages. Quality combined with experienced wine making lead to wines with distinction.
Celler Cecilio Black Slate Gratallops
This classic Priorat blend is a stunner, and the perfect wine if you’re sitting down for a romantic night by the fireplace. Deep cherry mingles with exotic spices to make this wine an exciting one to taste throughout an evening.
Baron De Ley
Spanish wines are plentiful in the market, but Spanish wines with character and distinction are a rare find. These gems are truly remarkable and are absolutely worth savoring.
Baron De Ley Blanco Rioja
Aged in concrete tanks, this is a fresh and aromatic white wine that will delight any white wine drinker. While light, it stands up to seafood dishes year round.
Baron De Ley Museum Reserva
The ruby red color of this wine is delightful when poured into the glass, and the soft palate melds perfectly with a plate of Spanish meats and cheeses. Just the right amount of American oak gives this wine body and complexity.
Baron De Ley Reserva Rioja
This wine is all Spain, with wild berries and herbs co-mingled with the vanilla and clove of American oak. Grilled meats would be a perfect complement to this bottle.
Baron De Ley Varietales Garnacha
A lively wine bursting with flavor and silky tannins. One sip and you will want to lean into a night filled with food, friends, and laughter.
Baron De Ley Varietales Tempranillo
Fancy wooden boxes make this wine a beautiful presentation, but it’s just as pretty inside the bottle. Black fruits and tobacco leaf make this one age-worthy and impressive.
Le Ragose
This family owned winery is famous for its incredible wines, which are made traditionally and exceptionally. Responsible farming, excellent terroir, and hands on winemaking lead to truly outstanding wines.
Le Ragose Amarone
Made with a variety of native Italian grapes, this wine is fermented in stainless steel before being moved to oak casks. Powerful and elegant with a long, lingering finish.
Le Ragose Cabernet Sauvignon
Deep and dense with a hint of violet, mixed with cassis, olive, and dark chocolate. This wine is exciting and delicious, something different for someone who loves Cabernet.
Le Ragose Valpolicella Doc Classico
Brilliant, light, young and fresh – this wine could be enjoyed every night. Fresh red fruit aromas compliment Gorgonzola cheese perfectly.
Le Ragose Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore Doc
The ripasso method of refreshing the wine during production on the Amarone skins gives this wine structure, allowing it to age perfectly. Pair with grilled lamb chops or bistecca.
